HOA LU – MUA CAVE – TAM COC 1-DAY TOUR FROM HANOI
08:00 – 09:30: Our private car with a driver and tour guide will pick you up at your requested place in Hanoi City (hotel, Old Quarter, etc.) Then, a 1.5-hour car ride to Ninh Binh starts.
09:30 – 10:30: First, you spend 1 hour exploring Hoa Lu, the once-capital of Vietnam during 968–1010. You will admire its structure and learn about its history from our tour guide.
10:30 – 11:20: Next, you will conquer nearly 500 stone steps along Ngoa Long Mountain to reach Mua Cave at the top. Once you get there, you can admire the tremendous panorama of Ninh Binh, especially the Tam Coc area.
11:20 – 12:00: You move on to Tam Coc by bike. Along the 5-kilometer route to Bich Dong Pagoda in Tam Coc, you will enjoy poetic surroundings. You can take some photos at the pagoda before lunch.
12:00 – 13:00: Lunchtime is at a local restaurant, where local dishes, like mountain goat meat or spring rolls, are served.
13:00 – 16:00: You will spend an afternoon on a sampan boat discovering the majestic limestone cave system in Tam Coc.
Floating along the Ngo Dong River, you will pass by big limestone mountains, large paddy fields, local life, and more. On top of that, you will sail through three unique natural caves, called Hang Ca (First Cave), Hang Hai (Second Cave), and Hang Ba (Third Cave).
16:00 – 16:45: After the boat docks, you have some time to enjoy the views and tea or coffee at a cafeteria on the pier.
