Day 0: Transfer From Hanoi To Ha Giang
Our driver will pick you up at your hotel, homestay, or resort in Hanoi City Centre. After a nice greeting, he will assist you in transporting your luggage to the car and placing it in the trunk. Once everyone has taken their seats, we will begin our day travel from Hanoi to Ha Giang by private sleeper bus or daytime limousine.
Day 1: Ha Giang City – Bac Sum Slope – Quan Ba Heaven Gate – Twin Mountain – Yen Minh Town – Tham Ma Slope – H’mong King Place – Dong Van Town
The Ha Giang Jeep Tour will begin at 8:30 am at our homestay in Ha Giang City, where you will be introduced briefly by our professional tour guide to this 2 Days 1 Night tour.
Starting the Jeep tour to explore the beauty of Ha Giang, guests will notice a significant shift in the natural landscape as the car travels through the mountain roads. The first stop on this journey is the Bac Sum Slope, where visitors can observe the scenery, mountains, and woods while drinking water to relax.
Next, we will go through Dong Van Karst Geopark, which is part of Vietnam’s rich cultural legacy. Standing here, you may view the ethnic community’s terraced farms, thousands of limestone mountains, and the valley’s hidden villages. At the same time, our English-speaking tour guide will provide you with some interesting facts about this location.
After that, we will return to the Jeep and head to Quan Ba Heaven Gate and Twin Mountain. These are two popular tourist attractions in Ha Giang. At lunchtime, we will eat a superb lunch featuring appealing local cuisine at a restaurant in Yen Minh Town.
After finishing our meals and resting for a little, we will continue our tour to explore Ha Giang by Jeep by heading to Dong Van District. Before arriving in Dong Van, our friendly driver will take you to the Chinese border and Vietnam’s most famous northernmost scenic point.
When you arrive at Dong Van, you’ll notice the broad and deep valleys with stunning landscapes at Tham Ma Slope. After that, go to the H’mong King’s Palace, also known as the Meo King’s Palace.
Finally, we will return to the Homestay and have dinner in Dong Van Town. The first day of the journey has ended.
Day 2: Dong Van Town – Ma Pi Leng Pass – Meo Vac – Ha Giang City – Hanoi
After breakfast at the Homestay, we will start our second day of touring in Ha Giang aboard an old US Army Jeep. The first stop of the day will be Ma Pi Leng Pass, one of the most stunning “four great mountain passes” in Northern Vietnam’s hilly region, located in Meo Vac.
From the summit of the pass, tourists may enjoy a panoramic view of the magnificent Nho Que River below and the towering mountains in the distance. In addition, visitors can also observe Meo Vac District’s special sceneries along the 20-kilometer-long route.
After going across this pass, the Jeep will take another route back to Yen Minh Town. Along the road, we may see ethnic minority youngsters in their distinctive traditional clothing playing together.
In addition, visitors traveling by Jeep from Yen Minh Town to Ha Giang City can observe images of locals working hard in the fields while carrying their children on their backs, sleeping sweetly and respectfully. This is truly an impressive image showing the greatness of Vietnamese women.
